Water Restrictions

EAA moves to Stage 2 Permit Restrictions for San Antonio Pool, which includes Medina County users, as drough conditions ease.  

Stage 2 Water Restrictions for Customers of the District.  

  • All users must practice water conservation and preservation.
  • No person may use District water for landscape watering between the hours of 10 am and 8 pm.  
  • No person may use District water for washing automobiles, sidewalks, driveways, carports, or any other type of artificial ground cover.
  • Restaurants and other eating establishments are prohibited from serving District water to customers except upon request from the customer.
  • Every customer who owns or has a possession of a swimming pool must cover the pool with an effective evaporation cover, screen, or evaporation shield when the pool is not is active use.  Active usage includes necessary maintenance that required removal of the cover, scree, or shields.
  • Designated watering days for landscape watering will be:
    • For customers whose four digit section of the account number ends in an even number, the watering days will be Monday and Thursday between the hours of 8:00 pm and 10:00 am.
    • For customers whose four digit section of the account number ends in an odd number the watering day will beTuesday and Friday between the hours of 8:00 pm and 10:00.  
    • Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday will be non-watering days.
  • Persons may not use District water for an ornamental fountain or similar feature.
  • Livestock watering will be permitted in water troughs only.  (Filling earthen tanks will not be allowed).  

These restrictions are mandatory for all district customers and enforceable through penalties established by District Policy.
